PERSONAL LIFE: Old?

Twenty-four is not just a TV show. It's also my new age.
Is this good or bad?
I hope to post a lot, later.

Hope you had a good birthday. Did you do anything fun?
Thanks!
It was definately one of the most quiet birthdays I've had in a long time. The middle three years of college, my nerd friends and I always had the LOTR midnight premieres to go to, and we planned other stuff around that. Last year, I had a graduation/birthday party (and I went to other friends grad. parties). This year, people called me or messaged me happy birthday, and I just sat around in pajama pants all day. I have pretty decent plans for the next three days, though, so I think I will make this the birthday weekend.

Twenty-four didn't hit me very hard and didn't make me feel old. Twenty-five did, though. Egads. I felt like an antique and...old.

I will be 26 at the end of this month and...I'm okay with it. The problem was that I had never been "mid" anything. You don't really call 15 your mid-teens because being a teenager is all the same, as far as age. You're young, right? Well, I was in my mid-twenties and feeling as though I had done so little and didn't really see much coming up for me about this time last year.

Ah, what a big change can happen within a year, eh? I don't think any age from now on will bother me. I'm content with getting older and, as long as I keep doing things with my life and don't become stagnant, I'll be just fine.
J: Thanks again for the books, man! Books = my favorite! It was great recording, yesterday.
Jess: I can't lie-I am dreading the big two-five. But I definately want to get to the point where I feel the way you do about aging. Sigh...some day.
