bahahaha! So true. Do you ever wish you were born in another time? I don't think I've ever wished it to be the 1890's, but I do envy my parents being brought up in the 60's-70's. What a fun and stress free time period. haha. What the hell was that video all about?

I've often felt like I should have been a teenager in the 50's or the 70's (sit in the attic and listen to records all the time). I definitely look like I should, at least. The 1990's were the best in my opinion, though. Wish those wouldn't have ended.
Haha, the video is gently ribbing the massive hipster population in Portland (which is what every skit on the show Portlandia, which this is taken from, does). But a hipster is a hipster wherever or whenever they are from.

I feel pretty much the same. I loved the 90's but I think they would have been better if I was my age now in the 90's, which would mean being born in the early 70's. Either that or be born in the mid 50's yielded some good times. No laws and regulations had taken full affect, people had a lot more freedom and seemed to get along and understand one another, minus the racial and gender equality issues. I had a feeling that was from Portlandia, which I have been recommended to watch by a number of friends, but just haven't had time lately.

The 1890's might have been pretty cool as well. As long as you didn't know what the world was capable of at the present time. Knitting, brewing beer, all the fun stuff....
