Willard's job sucks. He's got to drive around the wicked and ungrateful bakery magnate, Mrs. Crock, as she frequently berates and insults him. He has a brilliant idea to get out from under her grasp, though: he'll kidnap and ransom her dog. However, the incompetent Willard, along with his equally incompetent chicken shack-running best friend, Rusty, botch the kidnapping, and Mrs. Crock, along with the rest of the world, think it's WILLARD who's been kidnapped. The insanity only spirals out from there.
2000's Screwed is not a great movie. It's not even a good movie. The plot is stupid. Many of the gags are stupid. Large stretches of the film pass senselessly by. However, the movie still features Norm Macdonald and Dave Chapelle (as Willard and Rusty, respectively) at the top of their games, and several very funny gags. I didn't laugh a lot throughout this film, but when I did, I laughed hard. And I was still alive when it was over. I guess overall that counts as a minor success? At least it resulted in a short review.
