Weed = Oreos?

Is anyone else getting tired of people talking about smoking weed like they are just eating some Oreos? I am. Here is the difference between smoking weed and eating Oreos. Marijuana is an ILLEGAL, mind-altering substance. Oreos are a delicious, legal snack that cannot hurt you in any way unless you eat way too many of them...and if you do, it is probably because you smoked weed and have the munchees.
Smoking pot is not cool. If you smoke pot you look stupid and irresponsible.

i'm with you. i always assumed that the conversations made me uncomfy because i was always the one person who hadn't just done that stuff. who knows.

as far as recent blogs... i might fix it. i started doing the youtube thing to fill teh void though lol.

I completely agree with this. I thought it was becoming more and more the norm and I was just an outsider in that area, but I'm realizing that's not the case. People brag about the weirdest things, and this is one that's never made sense to me.

EEEEEEE!!!!!! Holy crap that's awesome that you just posted on here. I hope you and Corey are doing awesome! If the youtube stuff is as crazy as those videos y'all made that I saw a ways back I am sure they are awesome. I think I am going to start using "a ways back" all the time now.
I'm glad you two are both on the same page as me because I am starting to increasingly feel like an outsider on this as well. I hope this is just a dumb phase the world is going through that will end soon.

Haha, I had a feeling you were an anti-weed kind of guy by some of your other posts I have read. I agree, but disagree with your statement. I agree in that people that "talk" about smoking weed are typically stupid and irresponsible. But there are many people, including myself, that smoke weed not to impress other people but to put themselves in a state of pleasure/relaxation from time to time just as a person drinks a couple beers after a hard day of work. I smoke maybe at most 1 time a week, which has recently increased to from hardly smoking at all for that last few years. Although it is illegal, I don't look at it as the devil like a lot of people including my wife's parents and my own parents. In my opinion alcohol is a much more destructive and dangerous 'drug' than marijuana and brings on a lot more heartache and misery that weed could ever do. Just like any substance its up to the individual to do so in moderation and in control. I know plenty of anti-pot activists and there is no talking this idea into them, but this topic sparked my interest. No hard feelings and good for you for passing on the grass.

And another thing, if you think you enjoy music as much as you do, I find it hard to believe that anybody would disagree that music is absolutely monumental and beautiful in all forms after a couple hits of the reefer. Personally it allows me to fall deep into the music and often hear things in songs I never noticed before. Smoke responsibly and don't smoke to be 'cool' because in that case you look foolish to everyone else.
