Filmshake Does Michael Crichton, with Congo (1995) and Sphere (1998)

Top of the line effects! If I squint and cover my eyes with duct tape, they almost look real!

I've always thought 1995's Congo is an objectively bad film. That is, until I spoke to Jordan Courtney about it on our latest Filmshake episode. Turns out, maybe it's just subjectively bad, for as much as I hate it, Jordan Courtney...loves it? What?! TIME TO ARGUE. This episode was meant as a tribute to Michael Crichton, but turned into something completely different. It's a monster!
