I've been co-hosting Filmshake: The 90s Movies Podcast for seven years now. When the pandemic hit in March of 2020 and people were cooped up in their homes, many new podcasts popped up. Some of those podcasts covered 80's, 90s, and 00's movies, though thankfully, no one came for our 90s crown. I managed our Twitter account at the time, and many of these podcasts, which have since folded or gone on hiatus, befriended me. Most of the ones who talked about older films covered nothing but big movies like 1991's Terminator 2: Judgement Day. In fact, many of them messaged me on Twitter and asked, "You call yourselves The 90s Movies Podcast, but you've never covered Terminator 2?!" My response to these podcasts, who often covered a movie a week (maybe that's why they flamed out!) was that "Thousands of movies came out in the 90s for us to cover, so why would we just cover all of the biggest ones right off the bat? You've got to pace yourself!" Well, we have paced ourselves. We have released episodes at a steady every three weeks pace, some of which covered big movies, and some of which covered ones few people have seen. I can't speak for Jordan, but I have enjoyed covering those movies--all of those movies--immensely. I hope we keep going for decades! But one thing is for sure...we have now covered Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Listen below! (or anywhere you get your podcasts).
