| Bad to the...er, actually, just bad. |
For most of us, these have been difficult times. Our whole world has changed. Things seem fine one day, and the next we feel like we are crawling through mud. With that said, Filmshake's usual recording studio at the East Baton Rouge Parish library has, for the time being, been shutdown along with the library. It's 100% the correct decision, but the show must go on. Jordan and I just recorded our first non-studio episode together. It was great to hear each other's voices, even if we were talking about
Wild Wild West the entire time. Yes, 1999's Wild Wild West, one of the worst movies ever made. It's a mess, but at least it gave us something to mercilessly mock. Who okay'd this movie's $170 million budget? Why is this movie so horny when it's clearly made for children? Why did Knight of the British Order, Kennth Branagh, not only agree to star in this film, but attempt the most over the top Southern accent of all time? Actually, we like that last bit, considering the amount of times we imitate it!
Please join us for this 90-minutes of insanity! Sorry about the length...we couldn't stop talking! Also, sorry that the sound quality isn't at the level of our previous episodes. We'll figure it out! Maybe there's some type of spider-related steampunk technology we can utilize? Or maybe I just need to wrap some tinfoil around my laptop?
