Weezer -- Maladroit

I don't have much to say about Maladroit. It's fine, a fun collection of upbeat rock songs. A few of the songs have big pop hooks. A few of the songs have big metallic riffs. The opening salvo of songs is pretty good, and an awesome video, featuring the Muppets, was commissioned for the catchy "Keep Fishin.'"
Unfortunately, as the album wears on, everything starts to kind of blur together, even the awesome guitar solos. While most of its tracks are solid, Maladroit simply feels like a collection of songs versus an album, and for the first time in Weezer's career, one of their albums feels insubstantial.
