Filmshake is Ravenous
Cannibal Party!!! |
I've been singing Antonia Bird's praises here over the last few weeks. Now it's time for my podcast to do the same. This episode of Filmshake, Jordan Courtney and I are joined by Reel Talk's Wes Jones to dish on the amazing cannibal horror/black comedy/satire/western/historical commentary film, Ravenous, from 1999. This Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle flick, featuring a uniquely strange and wonderful soundtrack by Michael Nyman and Damon Albarn, is a true original. We also talk Bird's 1995 drama, Mad Love, and turns out we really like that one too! Check it out, this episode is delicious!
