Ranking Every 1999 Horror Film

I've now seen over 20 1999 horror films. The late 90s are often regarded as a horror movie wasteland, but as far as 1999 goes, I have to disagree. The year is full of innovative, entertaining, and sometimes genre-creating horror films. Sure there are some stinkers in the bunch, but there are stinkers every year. I think it would be a tough task to find a horror movie year with as many heavy hitters as this one. You've got perhaps the greatest ghost story movie ever made, an incredible long form Stephen King piece, the film that kickstarted the found-footage subgenre, and what's generally considered to be the best shark movie since Jaws, amongst many other interesting, noteworthy films.
