Filmshake is Under the Stairs and Scared Stupid

Ernest is different than I remembered...

For October, Filmshake is covering two 1991 horror films, one ostensibly for children and one ostensibly for adults, just in time for Halloween. The children's movie and supposed punishment of the two, is Ernest Scared Stupid. The one for adults is Wes Craven's The People Under the Stairs. I won't give away my cohosts opinion, but let's just say I had more fun with Jim Varney's antics then I did Craven's clumsy attempts at exploring the nature of America, class, and the economy.
